RiverTrek has traveled the entire Ohio River twice a year. Historically, after leaving Paducah, KY at the end of May the Chattanooga Star worked her way up the river to Pittsburg, PA. There the Ohio River Run began, and the Star carried researchers all the way down the 981 miles of the Ohio River. Then the Star worked her way back upriver to begin the RiverTrek school program in the Fall. This year RiverTrek is scheduled for three ports-of-call on the Ohio, Paducah, KY with the River Heritage Museum, Cincinnati, OH at the Tall Stacks Festival, and Madison, IN with the Rivers Institute at Hanover College.
