RiverTrek is dedicated to the principle that our inland waterways are a vital component of local, regional and national infrastructure as well as the historical record. An educated public is necessary for sustainable management of our waterway resources.

The RiverTrek mission is to create an online interactive educational waterway resource for students, teachers, and the public.  Additionally as funding permits, a passenger carrying riverboat will travel our nation's waterways visiting rural communities to provide students a first-hand learning experience on their local portion of river.  RiverTrek also aims to educate the public with an emphasis on sustainable economic and environmental management of our waterways and water resources.

RiverTrek, Inc. is a non-profit educational program providing schools, organizations, and the general public an educational opportunity to learn about the importance of the American Inland Waterway System.
