Volunteers
There are many ways Volunteers can help RiverTrek.
One of the most common is local assistance in the communities we visit.
Also, through the modern marvel of the internet, volunteers are able to help with a variety of programs and tasks.
Probably the most exciting volunteer program is crewing on the Chattanooga Star riverboat.
While it is fun, do not think it is a pleasure cruise, it takes a lot of work.
RiverTrek is proud to list the following as RiverTrek Volunteer Crew:
Captain Frank Murray, Winston-Salem, NC - http://www.yachtdeliverycapt.com/
Captain Jeff Engle, Kirby Marine
Captain Mike Card, C&H Dock Systems, Chattanooga, TN
Captain Terry Price, North Carolina Highway Patrol, retired.
Captain John Davis, DDS, Dothan, AL, retired
Dr. Charles Somerville, Marshall University, Huntington, WV
Captain Bill Trisler, Put-In-Bay, OH
David Irwin, Chattanooga, TN
You do not have to be a Captain or Doctor to help, just willing.
